Welcome to Wild & Country. From our workshops deep in the Wiltshire countryside, we craft architecturally designed, modular cabins and buildings. Every space we create – whether it’s glamping accommodation, an office or classroom or just somewhere at the bottom of your garden to escape to – aims to connect the occupants with the natural world.
Our story isn’t a typical one. Our founders met whilst working on a construction project in Wiltshire, restoring an old country estate back to its former glory. Surrounded by beautiful English countryside and some of England’s finest architecture, William and Sam felt driven to use their skills for the power of good. Five years later, we’re one of a handful of specialist British companies focused on making truly sustainable, modular buildings that re-connect people with nature.
We’ve re-imagined the way spaces are built. Each of our buildings is manufactured ‘off-site’ under workshop conditions, to ensure it can be deployed on-site with ease, accuracy and cost-efficiency. From a sustainability perspective, you’re making a conscious choice: on every build we combine optimum energy efficiency and insulation, with high-levels of sustainable materials specification.
For us, sustainability and beauty are easy bedfellows. With our buildings, you are making an ethical and responsible choice; we take the guesswork out of sustainable specification. If you care about the materials that surround you, you can be sure that we do too. Where possible we aim to use locally sourced materials.
